As some of you may have heard, that loud pack was legalized in California. The access for top shelf marijuana is now available for all herb lovers 21 and over. Some of you may know this about me already, but for those who don't, I love marijuana. I hate the term "Marijuana Advocate." Marijuana lovers are not advocating anything, they are simply choosing to live their lives in a way they believe is healthy. And as many state governments have started to realize, marijuana has many benefits for the people who decide to accept its essence. It's all love. On a recent trip to Los Angeles, my wife and I were out shopping in Downtown and stopped at the marijuana dispensary MedMen. I heard about their store online and told my wife I really wanted to go there. The place is a safe haven for all who choose to use marijuana for whatever their reasoning is, there is no judgement. With many knowledgable workers, they can cater to any individual's needs. They had everything from some top shelf flower, to gummie candy, to medicinal care for your cats and dogs. I was able to share with the workers how I choose to have marijuana as a part of my daily life. I let them know how I like my weed, and they were able to relate to me as well as share their array of products. This next product I am going to dive into today is a product that was shared with me by the great staff at MedMen. Lowell Herb Co. "Love and respect for the planet." That is a motto we should all live by. Lowell Herb Co. is a group that gets it. They understand how marijuana impacts the world and the community in many positive ways. Their use of only organic fertilizer lets the consumer know exactly where the company stands on it's part in how we treat our world. With all the crazy things going on in this world, it's a blessing that Mother Nature still chooses to treat us so well. Lowell Smokes Blend: "The Lively Sativa" Farms: Emerald Canyon / Rustic Farms Autumn Harvest 17% THC A Curated Mixture of: 35% Extreme Dream (22% THC) 35% Pineapple (12% THC) 20% Sour Diesel (19% THC) 10% Black Lime Reserve (12% THC) What draws a consumer in at first glance? The beauty of the product, right? Is it appealing to us? The packaging of these 7 All-Flower No Trim-No Shake Pre-Rolled Smokes is love at first sight. The bull on the stamp represents a man named William "Bull" Lowell, a hero they continue to honor by living his tradition. But I don't need to tell you, the inside of the packaging itself will. When you open the pack, you see your 7 beautifully rolled joints all in a row. Just waiting to be sparked up with the matches they provide for you. The throwback to the matches is a true honor to the tradition of the history of marijuana. And plus, don't we lose lighters all the damn time? As you light your first joint with your match, you get a sense of nostalgia to a time you may never have even been a part of. You can feel the world sending you the winds of positive change, both big and small. As you take a deep breath, and exhale all of that negativity you have in your life, you realize something. You realize . . . that you're high. But it's an incredible feeling! The taste of this beautifully curated mixture lives up to it's name as The Lively Sativa. You can smoke a joint of this blend and get all that shit done you had been putting off for weeks. It gets you going. And in this case, it fueled a mind to write this article. The Earth has been here for billions of years. There isn't any inspirational point I'm trying to make, I'm literally just telling you that because it's crazy to think about how long that really is. Earth ain't tired yet? Earth ain't gave up yet? Shit, I ain't either. The balance this blend creates between high and alive just reassures you of your purchase. Hell yes, you did the right thing. If you see these in your local marijuana dispensary, you need to buy a pack, find a friend, and share some with them. And when you do, you will realize you need to share it with the rest of the world as well. Don't be stingy, pass. If it don't make me feel like this I don't want it!

We all experience challenging moments when it is time to make a decision that will affect us and those around us for the rest of our lives. Its like on The Matrix, Will you take the Red Pill or the Blue Pill? Either way, your choices will only define the rest of your future. Always be mindful of the fact that you could either be doing the best thing you have ever done for yourself or you are totally shitty at making decisions and your life ends up sucking. Yeah, we are probably all trash at decision making. Especially if you're reading this, your life probably succckssss lol. As it is time for a change in my life. I have decided to become a model and an actor. I've realized that I'm terrible at writing. I can't ever seem to find a way to captivate my audience. I have people writing me "Please stop writing. Your stupid metaphors for the bigger picture and all your little anecdotes for a positive lifestyle are seriously getting so annoying and you're fake." And that person was right, I'm done writing, for good. This led me to think long and hard about what I really can offer this world. I took a deep look into the mirror, but not into the mirror of my soul, but my actual mirror. I had been using my brain way too much in life, I realized it was time to use my handsome face to take over the world. I never realized how handsome I was until I took my glasses off and took about 2 steps back away from the mirror. As soon as I realized this, I went down to The Picture People and got some headshots done. The world will soon realize how beautiful I can be. I don't know how to describe this new feeling, but it makes me feel like Uncle Rico when he is getting those glamour shots from Deb. I really imagine myself surrounded by seahorses and it actually works. I have also decided to become an actor. I realized as I was writing this that I can totally pretend to be something I'm not. All I need to do is put myself in someone else shoes. Which is exactly what I was doing right now. This was all an act, April Fools haaaaa got 'eem! Man I'm too positive for all that negativity. Although I am realizing now that I am actually pretty good looking, I hadn't noticed before. And maybe I can act, my wife does always tell me that I'm fake. I always took it as a compliment. But anyway, Happy Easter everyone! I hope you guys get tomato soup in your Easter eggs for April Fools! Here's a Fail Videos Comp to make your day better. I was in the middle of writing a basketball post, when I read the news about Stephon Clark. An unarmed black man shot to death by the hands of the police in his own backyard. I've said this before and I've had people on social media comment back telling me that I need to see things as "All Lives Matter" but I can't. I simply can't see it that way and I'm sorry if that is insensitive. But until Black Lives Matter, then All Lives *Don't* Matter. It was late Wednesday night when the Sacramento Police had got a call about a man breaking into cars in a local neighborhood. It was not described to the police what the man looked like, so naturally when they saw Clark outside late at night, they assumed a black man was up to something. The police saw him and chased him in his backyard, and when they came around the corner they told him to put his hands up. When he attempted to put his hands up with his cell phone in hand, a police officer shouts "GUN GUN GUN" and they rang 20 shots into his body. What have we come to man?! We had a white male kill 17 children in Florida and they put him on a stretcher and into an ambulance and then into solitary confinement because of safety for his life. We have a white male bomber in Texas killing people, and the White House is telling us it is not an act of terrorism?! Do they even know what the fuck terrorism means?? It's not about skin color, it's about terrorizing people which is exactly what that man is doing. Clark happened to be at the right place at the wrong time and it cost him his life. Who is going to explain this to his children? Because of the color of their skin, they will forever be targeted as suspects in any situation, even in their own backyard. His grandparents witnessed his death, and we know for a fact that these officers will not have to face any consequences besides paid leave, or whatever else. They will face no prison time because there is no justice when it comes to the police murdering black people. I am not speaking with political correctness and honestly I don't care. Anyone who has anything to say has probably never faced the same uphill battle that black people have had to fight for generations. And yes, there is racism from the police and government with other minorities as well, but my Hispanic and Asian people are not losing their lives at the hands of the police every month. Here's a little story for you. I went out with some white guys about a year ago, I was in downtown Modesto on a Saturday night. This was just a few days after a black man had been beaten by a police officer for jaywalking. So naturally, they jaywalk because they are not afraid of police brutality. With my eyes wide open and mouth ajar, I looked at them all and said "You guys are going to jaywalk?! What if a police officer sees us??" One of them really turned to me and said "If a police officer has something to say to me about jaywalking, I'll turn to him and say 'Fuck you cop!'" I had no words. I asked them if they had no fear for the police and they asked me Why would they? I explained to them that looking a certain way can change everything, they were as understanding as they could be, but I'm sure it had no affect on them. It hurts me everytime I see news like this. When will it stop? How many times does THIS have to happen before America realizes that we have a race issue? It is embedded into our brains from a young age to judge people based off of skin color, whether we like to believe that or not. Stephon Clark was a young man with a future, and he got it taken away because of the color of his skin. Whether you choose to accept this as a fact or not is up to you. But which side do you want to be on when you are asked what you did to bring awareness to this issue when the revolution comes? As I sit here with a heart full of emotions, I want you to watch the body cam video of the last seconds of this young man's life Life is crazy. Time flies. If you blink, you'll miss something. Real eyes realize real lies. There's a million more cliches I can use right now, but I think you get the point. Becoming a real adult with responsibilities and relationships and knowing that every decision you make will effect your future and your children's future is all very stressful and physically and emotionally draining. But as I go through this journey, I've learned a lot about myself, the people around me, and how it is all going to be OK. My wife and I decided to do cloth diapers instead of disposable, and honestly I'm so glad we did. Not only because it is good for the environment, but to me it's just easier. My wife always says that I only like them because they are more absorbent so I can change his diapers less often, thats not true but I let her believe what she wants to believe. This choice that my wife and I made was one we had to make together, because having to wash them and put them back together every time they're clean is a process. Another duty added to the life of parenting, but like in life, most of the things we've done as parents aren't always the easiest but it's needed to create the best life we can for our son. As I sit folding these diapers, about an hour passes by and my phone is "dry" as they say. Now if I was younger than 22 this would probably bother me, but now I don't even realize because I'm too busy taking care of the things I gotta take care of. I've gained and lost a lot of friends over the years, and have even lost touch with some family. When we're in the moment of a friendship, we like to believe that this person is going to be there for life, but most of us know that as time goes on it really just doesn't work that way. Whether it's because of a falling out, a rift, or just two people growing apart, the ending of these relationships is always mutual regardless of how you look at it. We are ultimately responsible for maintaining these relationships, and even if it was something out of your control, we typically choose to move on with our lives and put other people or things ahead of those relationships. As I look back on these relationships I've had, I can now clearly see how as time went on those relationships came to a pause or even an end. And in every instance, I can look at things that bothered me with that person as well as what I could have done to make the situation better. But as I look back on the decisions I've made, I can see why I did them and I'm OK with it. Mostly, because I have to be. Those are the choices I've made and I can't go back. We all have something more important than these relationships, and for me it is the future I'm working towards with my wife and my son. For other people it may be a job, an addiction, another relationship, or other issues that hold them back from making it work. As you're reading this, I'm sure you're thinking about one particular relationship that you wish could have worked out but ultimately didn't. What happens a lot of the time is people feel that they need this person in their life and they do everything they can to keep them there, and if they are that important to you then I encourage you to do whatever you can to keep them. But sometimes, these things just don't work out how we planned. And I promise you, you can live without that relationship. You will find people who accept you in all of your flaws, and you will find people who can't stand your flaws. And that is OK! There has never been a perfect human being to walk this earth, each individual brings different things to the table in relationships. I haven't been the greatest friend to everyone over the years, and I am OK with saying that. I know all of my flaws. But we are who we are, and sometimes our choices to better ourselves ends up leaving other things or relationships behind. We have to continue to move forward, and find people who accept us with our mistakes. We must make time for those who are the most important to us, and your friends and family who stick around are the ones you'll need the most. It is OK to be wrong, it is OK to fuck up, it is OK to move on with life. Keep pushing towards whatever it is that makes you happy, and the right people will find their way to you. Not many I trust... Ima go my own way... As someone who has watched way too many episodes of The X-Files and has questioned everything in the existence of our solar system, I have been convinced for my entire life that there is life outside of our Earth and outside of our universe. And with the new discovery by a group of astronomers, who were working with NASA using their high powered telescope, the theory of life existing outside of this universe is now more prominent than ever. Whether they're aliens like the Ayy LMAO alien, or they're beings like the civilization in the movie Avatar, I'm sure they are as curious as we are to know what else is out there. By looking at this map of the known galaxies, it is easy to comprehend that there is life existing outside of our nearby universe. The discovery of TRAPPIST-1 (The name given to the exoplanet system recently discovered) will help us move forward in our acceptance of what else is out there. The astronomers say that it is more than possible that water can be found on a few of the seven planets they discovered, and where there is water, there is life. Next year, NASA plans to send a telescope into space that will be able to detect the chemical fingerprints of water, methane, and oxygen of the potential atmospheres. If you care about space and the discoveries of other universes too, that's dope. But if you don't, then I don't blame you for not having an interest in something that probably won't effect you directly. We all got busy lives, and unless you are going to be an astronomer then all of this information might not matter to you. You can think the Earth is a sphere, a triangle, a hexagon, flat, it really doesn't bother me what you think of it, because everything in life is all about perception. But this discovery can effect your way of thinking. Look at that map again, and look at how small the Milky Way Galaxy is. And then think about how small the Earth is in comparison to that, and then how small our country is, an then your state, and then your house, and then how small you are. We get so wrapped up in the concept of life and how everything around us can drive our state of mind into many different emotions that we may or may not want to feel or experience. People complain about their jobs or their financial status or their relationship status or how they feel like everything bad in life is happening to them. When we get caught up in the moment, we tend to forget how lucky and just how fascinating it is for us to even be existing on this planet and in this universe. You are so significant to the universe and you don't even realize it because you're too worried about how you're going to pay your bills or how you're going to get through the work day without ten cups of coffee or how some girl or guy won't text you back after a bad date. You are an incredible piece of life in this small galaxy and you can't take that for granted. So next time you are ever feeling like life is tough or you are hit with some kind of setback, just remember that in the grand scheme of things nothing is really all that bad when you remind yourself that life is an incredible gift in and of itself. Here's a trippy video that will definitely make you say "Holy shit" Our country is in a scary place right now. Last night in Dallas, fellow Americans were holding a peaceful protest in reaction to the continued use of excessive force by the police on our African-American brothers and sisters. Two deaths of two Black men in two days at the hands of the police is absolutely unacceptable. This is nothing new, it has been happening since integration happened in our country, and people have sat idly by as Black citizens of America have continued to be mistreated. Yes, many different races have been mistreated, but the mistreatment of Black citizens is an issue that must be brought to the light until there is a solution. But sadly, this protest ended in horror with 12 police officers being shot and 5 being killed. CNN reported the killer (or one of the killers) to be US Army Reserve, Micah Johnson who died last night as well. So far there is no evidence of him being linked to any political, religious, or social group but the mainstream media may try to convince you otherwise.
What happened last night in Dallas is a tragedy, as innocent police officers died for the sins of bad police officers and in no way am I saying that violence is the answer. But what I will say is that people can only be pushed so far until it reaches a point where they begin to push back. Blacks in America have been mistreated since the beginning our of country's history, and it has not changed even to this day. I will never know what it is like to be Black in America, which is truly sad because it shouldn't be any different than being any other race in America, but yet it is. I don't want so continue to be a part of the problem and just sit idly by as our fellow Americans are being treated unfairly because of the color of their skin. I don't have a solution, and I'm not sure if there even is a solution out there yet. But I do know that I want to help spread awareness about what is going on in our country, and I want to be able to say I helped search for the solution and didn't just wait my whole life for it. This country was built on immigration, which may not have been the greatest idea to begin with but we are here now, and we need to find a way to make a country where all races feel safe. Everyone who continues to act like there isn't a race problem in our country will continue to be a part of the problem. I never agreed with the use of violence, but it is all around us. We have brothers and sisters dying at the hands of violence by each other and by the law. We can't continue to let violence to be used for hate, but we can allow violence to be a part of the solution that leads to peace on Earth. Thousands of years ago, when humans were faced with times when they may have thought they were going to have their land or lives taken away, they were reduced to fighting for their lives. We may have to fight for the freedom of our brothers and sisters, whether that be with peace or violence is yet to be known. Just think about this for a second, the man who killed those police was a trained killer who has been killing innocent people in other countries for our freedom for years. He probably saw no other solution to the problem than to kill for freedom once again, just on our soil. This man made the wrong choice, but when the military begins to go at the police, that means there is a bigger problem than even we know about! This is a sad day for all of America, but please keep everything in perspective. Happy Earth Day world! I could sit here and tell you to recycle and why its important. I could tell you about how we're polluting the Earth and what you could do to stop it. But I'm sure you guys have already heard all these things. I'd rather give you a little inspiration for your life. I'm not sure when they came up with Earth Day or even why they started it in the first place. But I'm going to guess that the people who started it were some pretty caring people. To decide to have a day to celebrate the beautiful Earth that we live on, together, is something that most of the common thinkers wouldn't be able to fathom. This Earth has been here for billions of years. When the Earth first began its young existence, I can only imagine that there was very little life. So an entire planet that can sustain life is something extraordinary, and the possibilities were endless. But we turn to today, and look at how the human race has changed the landscape of the Earth like no other living being has ever done. When we look at the way the world is now, I still feel like it has so much potential to be a better world. Right now we have wars, violence, evil acts, and many other horrible things being committed by humans against other humans. As the human race, we are at the top of the food chain because we were given an advanced brain and thumbs. But since being at the top, we have done nothing but be violent towards each other. As history has shown, there will always be evil in the world as long as there are people that drive to achieve power in their lifetime on this Earth. But we need to strive for something better. I encourage you to spread peace and love everyday to everyone you see. We are all the same race: Human. If you go up to someone you don't know and you ask them how their day is, they're probably going to look at you weird because they don't know you. But that's ok. Because for every person who doesn't want to get asked how their day is, theres thousands of people who need someone to ask how their day is. Every human needs love and positivity. Treat others the way you want to be treated and I promise the world will only improve. Imagine if every person on Earth wanted nothing but World Peace, how easy would life be? Here is one of my favorite Beatles performances. Doesn't have much to do with Earth Day, but it still seemed fitting. So over here at The IrrelAVant Blog headquarters, we like to think of diabolical pranks. So obviously we had to bring you something great for April Fool's Day. And what better way to start off then with a prank on my younger cousin Alex. Alex likes to think he's a big boy, so we wanted to see how he reacted when we gave him some big boy news. He was a great sport after, because he knows that we care about him and did this out of love. Please enjoy this video of our first official April Fool's Day prank! On Thursday March 31st, 2016 the California State Assembly and State Senate both approved a bill to increase the California minimum wage to $15 an hour. The state's current minimum wage is $10 an hour, and it will change to $10.50 in 2017, $11 in 2018, and will have a $1 increase until it reaches $15 in 2022. This was huge because California became the first state to approve a $15 minimum wage, while the federal minimum wage remains at $7.25 an hour. Obviously, California is a much more expensive state to live in compared to somewhere like Idaho where the minimum wage is the country's lowest at $7.25 an hour. Of course with this increase, there are critics who believe this bill was rushed. With California being the first state to approve this high of an increase, there are worries for the some of the poorer counties who are already struggling. To try to help ease this plan into affect, the state has agreed to give smaller businesses, who have less than 25 workers, one year before this law goes into action. Giving them until 2023 to reach the state's minimum wage. If you would like to educate yourself even further on this news, visit this link to CNN's take on the recent minimum wage approval. Here is a video from the Speaker of the State Assembly Anthony Rendon, talking about this historic moment and why it is such a significant change. Welcome all! Friends, family, and internet. My name is Anthony Vallesteros and this is my official blog page. Follow me on my journey to my dreams. I'm calling this The IrrelAVant Blog for a few reasons. For those who have known me on social media in the past, you will know why the word irrelevant is spelled wrong. I have always felt like every one person in this world is so small in comparison to the grand scheme of things. So even if we're the greatest person to ever exist, we are still irrelevant to billions of people on this earth. And everything that we care about is not always relevant to everyone else in this world. So this blog, while it may be important to me and the people reading, it is all a bunch of irrelevance. And while this blog may not be what you're used to, I guarantee it will always be interesting. So welcome to the inside of my mind, and help me get my visions out to the world.
